New tax filing and payment due dates

The due date for filing individual tax returns has been extended to June 1, 2020. Taxpayers will have until September 1, 2020 to pay any 2019 income tax amounts owed.
You will be able to apply for the new Emergency Support and Emergency Care benefits in My Account or using the dedicated phone line starting April 2020.

Please note we’ve added new “Proceed to pay” buttons in My Account and My Business Account. You no longer have to use payment links, such as My Payment. These new buttons are available everywhere you have a balance owing and provide a quick link to the many ways you can pay the CRA.

Employees and representatives can access an account on behalf of their employer or business clients. See Represent a Client.

Business owners (including partners, directors, and officers) can access their GST/HST, payroll, corporation income taxes, excise taxes, excise duties and other levies accounts online. What can I do on My Business Account?

Choose from one of two ways to access My Business Account:

Option 1 – Using one of our Sign-In Partners
Log in or register with the same sign-in information you use for other online services (for example, online banking).

Option 2 – Using a CRA user ID and password
Log in with your CRA user ID and password, or register.

If you are using an older browser that does not support the latest security standard, you will not be able to access CRA’s secure online services.
